Near the property lies an old growth forest where you can explore, as well as picnic spots along the river.  The area is surrounded by many beautiful parkland areas and trails – just choose where you want to go and then explore!

Forget about chlorinated pools, if you're a dare devil, jumping from a cliff into free-flowing natural water could be the thrill your looking for, if not enjoy the beach or maybe just relax in the hot tub sized pool and enjoy natures atmosphere.  These swimming areas are a five-minute drive away from the homestead. Though one area requires a 15 – 20 minute hike through the woods, but lies in a secluded location where the modern world can be left behind.

Near the homestead guests can access 4 different trails after a five minute car ride or a 25 minute bike ride where you can witness some of the most beautiful scenery in Lunenburg County.

Access  to the “Rails to Trails” where pedal biking and ATV riding is permitted on some trails – check with the Municipality.  “Rails to Trails” is a Canada-wide project that has repurposed the Canadian National Railway beds into hiking/biking/walking trails throughout every province in Canada.
